Download iCal FileThe Chicago chapter of the Society for Neuroscience (CSfN) holds an annual meeting in the spring. The 2020 Annual Meeting of the CSfN will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 on the Northwestern University Medical campus downtown. Please mark your calendars.
GPN students are encouraged, but not required, to attend. The meeting consists of invited lectures, poster sessions featuring research by faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduates, and a competition among graduate students for best research talk. Traditionally, UIC has selected our representative for the Graduate Research Symposium in our own Spring Neuroscience Graduate Research Symposium (NGRS), typically held in late February. However, with the early date of next year’s CSfN meeting, we were asked to name our representative before Feb. 1. Therefore we decided to award the UIC slot in the CSfN symposium to the winner of the 2019 Neuroscience Day Poster Session, Allison (Kirchner) Ellis. Congratulations, Allison!
