Matthew Tobin, Evan Kyzer, and Tiffani Berkel have fulfilled the defense requirement to receive their MD/PhDs this year!
Matthew was advised by Dr. Orly Lazarov during his doctoral training, and he defended his dissertation, entitled Mesenchymal stem cells induce recovery after stroke by regulation of inflammation and oligodendrogenesis, in partial completion of his doctoral degree in Neuroscience on June 11th, 2018.
Evan Kyzar, advised by Dr. Subhash Pandey during his doctoral training, defended his dissertation, entitled Histone methylation mechanisms in the adult brain after adolescent alcohol exposure, on May 29th, 2018.
Tiffani Berkel, who was advised by Subhash Pandey, defended her dissertation, entitled The role of histone and DNA methylation mechanisms in alcohol drinking and anxiety-like behaviors, on June 11th, 2018.
