About

Jordan is a current graduate student in UIC's Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP), where she will receive both her MD and PhD degrees. She graduated in 2016 from Vanderbilt University with double majors in Neuroscience and Child Development. After graduation, she spent 2 years as a post-baccalaurate research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) under Dr. Karen Berman in the Section on Integrative Neuroimaging. At NIMH, Jordan used neuroimaging techniques to measure structural brain development in relation to the onset of puberty. Jordan recently completed her first 2 years of medical school at UIC and is starting her PhD in Neuroscience under Dr. Tory Eisenlohr-Moul, where she will study the interaction between ovarian steroid hormones and suicide across the menstrual cycle.
