About

Grace is a native of New Hampshire and a graduate of Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA with a BS degree in neuroscience. During her undergraduate years, she researched the corticotropin-releasing hormone receptor 1 (CRHR1) and the neurokinin-1 receptor (NK1R) and their roles in stress, alcohol use, and aversion resistance in Dr. Jesse Schank’s lab at the University of Georgia. She also researched the relationship between the functioning of the endosomal trafficking pathway and autism spectrum disorder in Dr. Jennifer Larimore’s lab at Agnes Scott. Grace’s research interests include alcohol use, polysubstance use, stress, and psychiatric conditions as well as the relationships between these factors. In her free time, Grace enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and cooking new recipes.
