Hello! I am a recent alum of UIUC, where I studied Molecular and Cellular Biology ( BS 2022). During my undergraduate career, I researched health and hearing disorders like hyperacusis and their effect on the central auditory system within the Auerbach lab (Dr. Benjamin Auerbach, Beckman Instute UIUC). We were also heavily interested in the development of hyperacusis like perceptions of sound in rodent models of autism spectrum disorder. My current research interests include investigating underlying mechanisms of the central auditory system, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and developing earlier therapeutic interventions to neurological disorders like Alzheimer's. During my free time, I enjoy caring for plants, baking, and lifting weights.
